LORD KAOS
One of Australia’s earliest major black metal bands, formed in 1994, Lord Kaos generated international acclaim by the time of their seminal debut album Thorns Of Impurity, with founding guitarist Astennu going on to relocate to Norway and join both Dimmu Borgir and Covenant.

Reactivated with Astennu back at the helm, the band made their successful live return in 2023 as main support to I Am Morbid, and have been hard at work on a powerful new album.

Now Lord Kaos are back to play their first full headlining show in Canberra with Astennu in over 25 years, with a set that will take in classic tracks from Thorns Of Impurity and their 1995 demo Path To My Funeral Light, along with a preview of the forthcoming album.

CRUCIFORM: One of the most significant bands to emerge from the vital early 1990s Australian Metal scene, pioneering Sydney Death-Doom institution Cruciform return for their first Canberra show in 5 years.

Since their reformation in 2012, the band have played alongside such major international acts as Immolation, Paradise Lost, Incantation and Dead Congregation.

Expect to hear classic tracks from their early days alongside crushing new material.

THE VEIL: The Veil's distinctive sound draws from Peaceville Doom and Post-Punk, with elements of Black Metal, Shoegaze and dark folk.

The band has shared stages with Alcest, Anathema, Uriah Heep, and Nazxul among others, and also made an appearance at the cult Dublin Doom Days festival in Ireland.

Playing in Canberra for the first time in 6 years, The Veil will be previewing new songs written and recorded since their recent return from hiatus along with selections from previous releases, as the long awaited 3rd album draws nearer.
